Hair care tips for summer


We all know how the hot summer sun is harmful to our skin, and we take due precautions for it. But have you ever given a thought about the effects that sun has on hair ??? The sun can cause equal havoc with our hair as well.

During summer hair turns limp and lifeless. This happens because of the high humidity content in the atmosphere settles on your hair and weighs it down, the result limp hair.

Sweat and dust contributed by summers increase hair problems like dandruff, split ends, frizziness and increased hair fall.
The hot summer sun doesn’t show any mercy and dries out everything in its way, hair included. Imagine subjecting your hair to straightening, curling or other treatments that involve heat at such a time.
Summers can be harsh on your scalp too, causing dryness and sunburn. It is commonly believed that hair protects the scalp, but that is not the case. Dry scalp brings its own set of problems and may end up damaging your hair.

Scalp type – oily, dry, dandruff, itchy, combination or any other medical condition
Hair type – straight, curly, wavy, colored, treated, permed, straightened or any.
 Summers already dries your hair out and causes damage to them. So make sure you go easy on any chemical hair treatments during this period. Avoid too much coloring, whether at the spa or Mix.

Aloe Vera - some fresh aloe vera pulp with a few drops of lemon juice and apply it to your hair. Wash off after 15 minutes.

Banana Mask- Mash a ripe banana into a smooth paste and add 1 tbsp. of honey to it and dry it.

Olive oil and Honey- Mix 3-4 tbsp of honey with 1tbsp of olive oil. You can also add an egg yolk to this.

 Eggs- Use egg whites for oily hair, yolks for dry hair and the whole thing for normal hair. Remember to wash it with lukewarm water only or you’ll end up with scrambled eggs in your hair.

Vinegar- If you are tired of your conditioner you can use the natural Conditioner for your hair. Dilute some vinegar in water and  Use it after shampooing.
